My blog posting this after noon is titled after a song by a band from Vancouver called Said the Whale.
Though I decided to end my week or perhaps week and a half long sebatacle from blog postings, this one in particular shall only be short as I typically choose to do my writings later into the evening; preferrably around 2:00am. I would like to express my satisfaction with honey. This natural anti-oxidant rich and succulent nectar is marvelous for wakening up the mind and enriching your senses because it is sweet. As much as I do not intend to sound pretentious as I write this, I enjoy putting a bit of honey into my Americano or into a Cappuccino to not necessarily mask the taste of the coffee but more or less to enhance it- at times the bitterness is quite overwhelming.
Starbucks is typically a culprit for exceedingly bitter and often syrup-like coffee as the beans, at least to myself seem to usually be roasted without absolute resolve and often times reiterate my need for more taste-buds. I enjoy Starbucks on occassion now, more so less and less as the prices do not often meld well with a students budget, nor does the atmosphere of the inside of the place. Though I am certain I may have embittered a few of you towards the coffee giant and angered a few fans I would hope that you do not think me a coffee snob- I appreciate coffee but I and I am sure most others would intend to spend a little bit less than what is being charged currently.
Anywho, back to the stimulating honey talk. Honey is wonderful, especially in beeswax form as it is full of soothing vitamins for the skin as a topical solution or for the inside of your body. I encourage everyone to be a little sweeter and enjoy honey a little more often.
I enjoy my Americano with a little bit of honey and cinnamon, it warms me up.
